Sunday, May 22 2016 by SNTV
  • Reports in the British media suggest Jose Mourinho will be appointed manager of Manchester United early next week, despite the current manager, Louis van Gaal, leading United to victory in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday (21st May).

According to reports Jose Mourinho is set replace Louis van Gaal as Manchester United manager.

The reports began to circulated just hours after Van Gaal lead United to an FA Cup victory over Crystal Palace at Wembley on Saturday (21st May).

Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea in December following a swift fall from grace at the club.

The Portuguese boss has long been linked with the Old Trafford hot seat as rumours about Van Gaal's future rumbled on throughout the campaign

The Dutchman failed to guide United to the Champions League qualification this season, and it seems an FA Cup win was not enough to save him.

According to reports Mourinho could be unveiled as early as next week.
