Leicester City players were congratulated by manager Claudio Ranieri at their training ground on Tuesday (3rd May) as Premier League champions.

"I feel good. It was an amazing achievement for me. For the lads, for the chairman, for our fans - something special. Unbelievable."
Q. How have you done this? Because nobody expected Leicester to achieve this?
"Also, (we) didn't expected to do this. BUt I think the secret is the harmony and the love and the passion of the players on the pitch."
Q. And on Saturday, you will lift that Premier League trophy in front of the home fans. They have been really important this season as well.
"They are our energy because they push a lot behind us. Always. But more when we were losing. They push a lot. They believed first - then us. It was an amazing season."
Q. You have said all season long that you want to stay at Leicester for a long time. Nothing will change now?
"No. It doesn't change anything. I want to stay here for a long time. We had a project. We want to continue this project. I know that next season it will be harder but we are ready to fight."

"It's good that the lads are all together but it didn't matter. I think it would have meant as much to us wherever we would have won it. It's going to be good for the fans on Saturday so we are going to make sure they enjoy it."

"I think going through a journey like this bring you close. We were a close group in the Championship as well and, fortunately, a lot of us have stuck together and managed to go through this one together as well. It's massive and we need to make sure we cherish the moment as it is not very often that things like this come around."
