Pulis says Stoke were "punished" by West Ham

  • West Ham powered their way into fifth in the English Premier League with an impressive 3-0 win at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Tony Pulis, Stoke City manager:

"Yeah, it has been so disappointing really, watching it, because we needed a goal and we needed a break. And how (Michail) Antonio clears that (ball) off the line - I have watched it again, and again, and again, and he is actually coming onto the goal - usually it hits your foot and he'd take it in the back of the net. It has hit his foot and gone outside the goal. So the breaks, that little bit of a break we needed wasn't there. Their first two goals - the one obviously from the challenge from Fletch (Darren Fletcher) where it goes straight out to the lad and he crosses it and they score. And even the second one in front of us, we are well set up and it hits Daws' (Craig Dawson) toe and takes three of our players out of the game where (Mark) Noble scores. And once you give West Ham that opportunity and chance - they have got some good players. They are a good team and I thought Noble was outstanding today in midfield. You know, they punish you, and they do."

SOUNDBITE (English): Slaven Bilic, West Ham manager:

"If we are going to talk about Mark Noble, we are going to have to talk a long time. The way he - not only today - the way he trains and plays and behaves - since start of the season, is basically unbelievable."
