  • Lucas Bjerregaard and Felipe Aguilar sit two shots clear of the field on 16-under-par after Saturday's (30th April) third round of the Volvo China Open in Beijing.

After completing the weather-interrupted second round early in the morning, it was time for round three of the China Open.

England's Tyrrell Hatton enjoyed his share of the spoils, this eagle at the 8th was followed by birdies in three of his last four holes for a five-under-par round of 67.

Home hopes rest with Li Hao-Tong, whose six-under-par 66 featured a run of four consecutive birdies.

Belgium's Nicolas Colsaerts was bogey-free on his way to carding the joint best round of the day - a seven-under 65.

He joins Alex Noren, Li Hao-Tong and Hatton tied for third on 14-under.

Felipe Aguilar, who topped the second round leaderboard, started by setting up a birdie at the first. Five more followed and he finished with a five-under-par 67..

Lucas Bjerregaard holed his approach at the par-four third hole for a spectacular eagle, then birdied the long eighth for the third day running.

A birdie at the 16th meant he matched the 65s of Colsaerts and Swede Johan Carlsson.

So at the end of round three Bjerregaard joins Aguilar at the top the leaderboard heading into Sunday's final round on 16-under-par.
