  • In preparation for his home Grand Prix, Russia's Daniil Kvyat went down Sochi's Olympic bobsleigh run on Wednesday (27th April) and discussed the pressure on him to produce this weekend, as well as Red Bull's chances of a positive result.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Daniil Kvyat, Red Bull F1 driver (asked about driving in a home Grand Prix):

"I'm very happy to have my home race. It's very nice to have it. Obviously all the Russian people have a chance to look at myself and cheer for me which is very nice."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Daniil Kvyat, Red Bull F1 driver (asked whether the fans put extra pressure on him to succeed):

"Yes in a good way. That's.... this positive pressure, I always try to take the best out of it and try to enjoy it. It's always very nice to know there are many people supporting you and it's very cool."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Daniil Kvyat, Red Bull F1 driver (asked what his expectations were for his home race after finishing third in the Chinese Grand Prix):

"I think China was a positive confidence boost for myself and for the whole team and now we are aiming to continue this momentum which we created. And hopefully we can have another strong race here in Sochi, but no real expectation. We'll just do our best."
