Three way lead at storm-affected Shenzhen International

Monday, April 25 2016 by SNTV
  • The Shenzhen International in China will conclude on Monday (25th April) after bad weather intervened once again at the Genzon Golf Club in China on Sunday (24th April). Just one shot separates six players at the top of the leaderboard.

Over six and a half hours had already been lost to the weather at the Shenzhen International, meaning the tournament will now run into Monday.

Bubba Watson was one player who would complete his tournament - the world number four shooting a 66 for his round of the week and tied for fourth.

Four-time European tour winner, Joost Luiten of the Netherlands, was three under for the day in his final round.

Luiten has just three holes to play on Monday.

Alexander Levy of France, the winner here two years ago, is two under par for his round.

Levy managed 12 holes of his fourth round and is on 14-under alongside two others.

Long-time leader Soomin Lee is still hanging in - after not dropping a shot all week, Lee took a seven at the 17th in completing his third round and then double-bogeyed the 7th in his fourth.

Alongside them is England's Lee Slattery, who has played his last 24 holes at Genzon without dropping a shot.

A shortened version for the climax on Monday should make for quite a finish.
