An emotional Luis Suarez spoke to the press (Thursday 21st April) at a charity event

"We are aware that we help the team a lot. We are the three who usually play. But I think nobody is untouchable and nobody should take the blame when things are going bad. These past days the blame was often placed upon a player in particular, but this is a group. When we won everything last season we were invincible and now because we lose then it is the fault of a single player."

"That is impossible. But as I said yesterday it is a privilege and I am proud to have surpassed Ronaldo's record (number of goals scored for Barcelona) - for what he meant for this club and also worldwide, for the great footballer he was. I am enjoying from the moment I am living right now playing for the best team in the world. So it is a privilege surpassing one of the world's biggest players."
