    England and Nottinghamshire batsman James Taylor has been forced to retire because of a serious heart condition.

    The 26-year-old revealed he has been diagnosed with ARVC, a condition similar to the one which affected footballer Fabrice Muamba.

    ARVC can cause sudden death on exertion, amongst other conditions.

    Taylor played seven Tests and 27 ODIs for his country.
