"I mean I played great golf. If I went 41 on the front side and 31 on the back side, I'd be celebrating. I mean obviously it's just a number. I've got to understand that the next two days are going to be very difficult, with the wind conditions. 6-under's leading and I'm at even par. I've just got to slowly inch my way back into this tournament if I can , and be patient with myself, and hopefully I'm there by Sunday. But obviously it's a major championship...things happen. And unfortunately they happened at the wrong time today, but it is what it is and I've got to move on, and push forward, and try and get back in the tournament."

"That's what happens when you have the heebie-jeebies'. That's it, you know. I can't explain it. If you don;t feel it, you wouldn't know what I'm talking about. It's just one of those things."

"You know, obviously. You're out of the tournament and you only have got a 3-footer for par and you walk off with a nine. They gave me a nine by the way (it was reported first as a 10), somebody counted properly. What do you do? You work at the game, and so on, and then you get funny feeling and you can;t take the putter back, so...you know it's unexplainable. It's very tough. (Reporter question: You called it the heebie-jeebies, how do you fix it?) I don't know, you know. Give me a brain transplant."
