  • France head coach Guy Noves says it will be good to see where his team are compared to the best in Europe when they attempt to prevent England winning the Six Nations Grand Slam in Paris on Saturday (17th March).

"For us the challenge is at the end of the game, we could say, lose or win, are we making progress about what we plan to do on the pitch? Could we use it as a base to work on it and keep moving forward? Or are we so weak in some part of game area? And if it's so, what could we do to fix it?"

"That is what interests us, our game level, facing the highest level in Europe, because they won the tournament and they want to win the Grand Slam. So that is the interest, to find out where exactly the French team is."

"We consider that for the next few years, to be able to compete, we have to stay on the same dynamic and keep that philosophy. Last week, we would have liked to have more passes but some moments have been stopped by blunders too easy to avoid. So, we will remain faithfull to that to progress."
