England - West Indies in both side's opening World T20 group game.

Joe Root was going along nicely, flicking off his pads over the ropes as England sat at 88-1 off 10 overs.

The 25-year-old then mistimed to mid-off as England lost their third wicket on 114 off 14.1 overs.

Buttler hit a quickfire 30 before falling at deep square leg and England were struggling to get up towards 200.

Eoin Morgan and Moeen Ali hit 30-odd to set the West Indies a target of 183 to win.

In reply in Mumbai, Johnson Charles fell second ball to David Willey.

Then Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuels fired the Windies to within range of England as they passed the 100 mark.

Samuels went, yet Gayle kept going.

The 36-year-old hitting 11 sixes in his innings and bringing up his century to become the first player to score two World T20 centuries.

Gayle breaking his own record of sixes in a World T20 innings and guiding West Indies to a six-wicket win.

And for England, well they've the small matter of AB De Villiers and South Africa on Friday to most likely stay in the tournament.
