Sweden's Pelle Edberg and Australian Scott Hend share the lead on 12-under-par at the halfway stage of the Thailand Classic.
Day two of the Thailand Classic saw Scott Hend produce a course record-equalling round of 64 that saw him end the day in a share of the lead.
As the shadows lengthened at the Black Mountain Golf Club, an eagle and birdies at the 17th and 18th helped Hend to a 12-under-par.
Hend was runner-up in the tournament last year and will head into the weekend on the hunt for a second European Tour title.
He was joined at the top of the standings by Pelle Edberg, who is still searching for his first tour title, he carded a 65 to add to his opening day round of 67.
The week ended early for one of the bigger names in the field - Spain's Miguel Angel Jimenez failed to make the cut after rounds of 74 and 71.
First-round leader Peter Uihlein remained in touch after producing a birdie-birdie finish for a round of 71 to add his opening 64.
He lies in fourth place with a nine-under-par total as a tightly bunched field heads into the weekend.
