France wary of "dangerous" Scotland

  • France full back Scott Spedding described Scotland as "a very dangerous team", ahead of their match in the Six Nations at Murrayfield on Sunday.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Scott Spedding, France full back:

"I think we are seeing there are very good with the ball in hand, they've got some dangerous players. The full-back (Stuart) Hogg; he is very dangerous player, but we have also seen that they've made big improvements in their forward pack. They are lot stronger up front than they used to be a few years ago. So I think it's a very dangerous team, they could have easily made the semi-finals in the World Cup, had it not been for a mistake with the refereeing. It is going to be a very tough game, especially as are we playing at Murrayfield."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Scott Spedding, France full back:

"We need to hold the ball for a lot longer. We didn't have a lot of possession against Wales, so we need to hold the ball for a lot longer. We need to be most dangerous in attack. Then, of course, we need to be a lot better in the up-and-unders. We dropped a lot of up-and-unders, so we need to work on that and just try and be a bit more dangerous in attack."
