British boxer Amir Khan and WBC middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez held a press conference in London on Monday (29th February), in the build-up to their WBC title fight in Las Vegas, USA on the 7th of May.

SOUNDBITE (English) Amir Khan (on being confident):

"I've had five good wins and I'm ready for this fight. People can say what they want. I'm a dangerous guy and I've not been taking this fight lightly. I've trained very hard because any mistake I make he'll pick up on. I have to stay focused, not make mistakes and I am going to win this fight."

SOUNDBITE (English) Amir Khan (on him getting slower due to bulking up):

"The speed is there and the strength will definitely improve. Going heavier is not going to take my speed away. My speed is there still."

SOUNDBITE (English) David Haye (on his predictions for the fight):

"I believe Amir Khan is going to win this fight on points. I believe there's been too much emphasis put on Amir Khan's two weight jump. I believe Khan has the speed to negate Canelo Alvarez's superior punch power. I believe Alvarez's feet aren't fast enough to catch Amir Khan. I believe Khan is a more natural light middleweight anyway."
