  • West Brom manager Tony Pulis spoke on Friday (12 February) ahead of his team's Premier League match against Everton.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Tony Pulis, West Brom manager:

    (on Everton)

"We did very well against them earlier in the season, played very well for about an hour then we conceded a goal and they won the game from being 2-0 down which was really disappointing for us. They've got some fantastic players, I think it's probably the strongest Everton squad that the club has had for a long time. We know how difficult it's going to be, they're a good side and it's going to be tough, but we have to go there and make sure we put a show on."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Tony Pulis, West Brom manager:

(on the backlash of their FA Cup tie going to penalties)

"We could have done without it in some respects. The result was the most important thing and the fact that we've got through to the fifth round of the cup again, second consecutive year is all important. We have to deal with Everton, it's going to be a tough game, they've hit a rich vein of form. Our main concern really is making sure we get a team on the pitch, we've picked up some injuries, again the other night we picked up some knocks. It's about looking at the players and see who we have available to get a result there."
