Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp held a news conference despite recently undergoing surgery for appendicitis.

"Good. It is like it always is and I think a lot of people like it before. I didn't have it before so it was new for me. It was like always I think it was one not too good night and you get the surgery and everything is ok again. I think that's how it is. I feel good and I am back in the race."

"It is not too easy for me to say too much about it because I heard about this problem, but I've had a lot of things to do in the last few weeks, but now I know it is my problem too, of course. "We didn't decide until now about the starting line up. Of course, it was a very important (training) session. And he was fit enough to be on the bench. It was impressive the last session on Friday night, so we thought come on. If there's a chance for 10-15 minutes then we should try it, but I spoke to him and he said yes - he would like to. But the game had a different story and so there was no possibility with the two early changes."
