Pardew: 'Palace DNA sees us home'

  • Swans boss Guidolin blames Swansea weather as his side lose 1-0 lead to draw 1-1 with Crystal Palace.

    Liberty Stadium, Swansea, Wales, UK.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Alan Pardew, Crystal Palace Manager:

"Yeah I suppose if I was Swansea might think 'should have won it', but for us it was everything today: it was everything. We really had to sit ourselves down at half time and try and take the tie that we're dragging around on the back of us - with five defeats - and we managed to get a few of them off. The start of the second half was our best period: we scored - maybe we could have had a second. But make no mistake it was Crystal Palace DNA that sees us home."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Francesco Guidolin, Swansea Manager:

"Not easy because weather is not good for a team who try on the floor: it's no good. I think we deserved to win today. One point is no good because I think we deserve to win, but it is one point."
