  • South Korea's Song Young-han holds off Jordan Spieth to win the rain-delayed Singapore Open on Monday (1st February).

Monday morning saw the conclusion of the weather-delayed Singapore Open at the Sentosa Golf Club.

World number one Jordan Spieth was looking to put the pressure on leader Song Young-han and did just that as he birdied the 18th to move within a shot of the leader at eleven-under par.

The South Korean kept his cool at the 16th as he knocked in a tricky par putt to maintain his lead.

Japan's Shintaro Kobayashi was also in with a chance of catching Song but this bogey at 17 saw his hopes come to an end.

Two further pars at 17 and 18 were enough for Song Young-han to wrap up a one-shot victory over Spieth.

It proved to be a first professional win for the 24-year-old who was ranked a staggering 204th in the world going into the tournament.
