Rain ends play at Singapore Open with Song Young-han holding two shot lead
After finishing his third round earlier on Sunday, Jordan Spieth continued his chase on overnight leader Song Young-han at the Singapore Open.
The world number one started the day five shots behind, but picked up a birdie on the 11th hole to move to within two shots at nine-under.
But Song replied with his own birdie on the 11th to go three shots clear at twelve-under.
So back to Spieth to make his move.
The American found himself in the rough at the 15th, however, he played an excellent shot to get himself onto the green, where he recovered with a birdie to move ten-under.
Then came the drama.
With Spieth ready to putt for a birdie at the 18th and Song about to do the same on the 16th the horn sounded to signal a suspension in play due to rain.
The heavens duly opened meaning the final round will have be completed on Monday morning.
