Sunday, January 24 2016 by SNTV
  • Five-way tie for lead as fog suspends play early in the third round of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship on Saturday (23rd January).

Five men share the lead at 10 under at the end of day 3 in Abu Dhabi. They include Branden Grace - here birdying his 1st hole. Grace finished his day with par on the 16th, after fog delays prevented all but 13 players from finishing their rounds.

Rory McIlroy shares the South African's lead after completing only 9 holes - he's 2-under for the Third Round.

The three other leaders are an Englishman, an American and a Dutchman.

Ian Poulter's 5-under over 13 holes means he continues his surge up the board, after finishing in 29th and 15th places after rounds 1 and 2.

Rickie Fowler is 4 under after 11 holes and Joost Luiten is 3-under after 10, with a birdie on his last hole before play ended for the day.

Round 3 of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship will continue on Sunday at 7.45am local time.
