Reactions after Europe defeat Asia 18 1/2 to 5 1/2 to win the 2016 EurAsia Cup

"Well I think the guys played fantastic today. Their quality of golf was amazing considering the guys, a lot of them, have had a nice break off for Christmas, not been able to practice too much. To come and play in the manner and the fashion in which they did, to beat a very strong Asian team was very, very impressive."

"Of course, you know, we've got a very, very young team here this week and a lot of these guys playing this week are going to have to put that shirt on come September. So it's good for them. It's good to have that team room experience and the guys that make it come September are going to feel pretty good."

"It's so nice to be part of a team and to have Darren and Poulter and Westwood every night standing up, explaining you know, what's the challenges of tomorrow and the fire in their eyes. You know, we've all seen it on TV for the Ryder Cup and that. But you could really sense this week it was massive for them as well and I think that lifted all of us. Because you know they've done it all a million times before and you sort of wonder, you know, do they really get fired up for EurAsia Cup when they played so many Ryder Cups? But you could really sense EurAsia Cup was massive for them and I think that made us feel like we were part of something big as well."
