    Overnight leader Jamie Donaldson overcame an opening bogey to make three birdies on holes two, five and seven.

    However, he was replaced at the top of the leader board by Sordet whose rapid rise up the standings was assisted by this eagle at the 15th.

    Elsewhere the big names were out in force with Bubba Watson managed an even-par 72 to be tied in 34th place.

    Matthew Fitzpatrick also had a level-par round. Leaving the Englishman alone in eighth on nine-under.

    Sergio Garcia carded a two-under 70, and managed this eagle at the eleventh. The Spaniard is at eleven-under overall.

    Byeong-Hun An continued his solid form in this event, carding a four-under-par 68.

    The young Korean sits fourth on the leader board, tucked in behind Lee Westwood.
