Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James met with the media in Ohio on Tuesday (8th December) after signing a lifetime contract with Nike.

"I've had a smile on my face.... for quite a while, obviously the announcement here today. But there's a lot of things that's been done over the last few weeks and the last few months for it to come to this point, so I'm very humbled, man, it's an unbelievable time for myself and my family and. I'm just grateful that Nike and Phil Knight (Nike chairman) and everyone over there believed in a skinny, 18-year-old kid from Akron, Ohio and I'm happy to be a part of such a great company."

"You know, it meant a lot to me just to, even when I signed my first year just to be with Nike. And it means even more that they've given me, this. And just like I said it's very humbling and I'm grateful and, I'm going to continue to do my job to represent the brand the best way I can, like I know how, and hopefully, people see that."
