  • David Lingmerth holds a single shot lead after the second round of the Australian PGA Championship of 2015 in Queensland, held on Friday (4th December)

The conditions remained testing on the Gold Coast in Queensland for the second round of the Australian PGA Championship of 2015 on Friday.

After a poor opening round on Thursday things didn't improve greatly for Brandt Snedeker.

This putt for par on the third summed up his day as he finished up at 15-over-par, missing the cut by some way.

Dylan Fritelli had set the standard on day one with a two-under-par round of 70 and made a strong start to his second round, enjoying a birdie at the lengthy par five third hole.

Ashley Hall of Australia was another who had opened with a two under par round of 70.

He enjoyed a decent round of 73, one over par for the day, to sit at one under par at the midway point.

But the leader after two rounds, is David Lingmerth of Sweden.

His approach shot at the first hole hit the pin and set the tone for much of his round.

Six birdies and just two bogeys followed as he carded an impressive four under par 68, to sit at three under par with a one shot lead over the chasing pack.
