  • Reaction from Boston Celtics victory over Sacramento Kings in the NBA from Mexico City on Thursday (3rd December).

SOUNDBITE (English) George Karl, Sacramento Kings coach:

"Disappointing. I still think, you know, we have to be more serious about the starts of our games and tonight was the start, whatever, altitude, tempo, Boston playing great... they punched us pretty hard at the start and we never recovered."

SOUNDBITE (English) George Karl, Sacramento Kings coach:

"I think it was... It put a punch on our ability to have a comeback, you know, Rajon (guard Rajon Rondo) has been our motor, he's been our engine and we had moments in the second and third quarters, like we were going to figure it (the game) out a little bit better, but after that... and then because of his (Rondo's) fifth foul, made the game an easy game for Boston. But Boston played great."

SOUNDBITE (English) Brad Stevens, Boston Celtics Coach:

"We have been fortunate enough to play now in Milan, Madrid and Mexico City and you know, I'm fortunate enough top be the coach of a team that truly has a global brand. The Celtics have a global brand and you see Celtics jerseys everywhere you go in the world and you know, it's a responsibility to represent that."

SOUNDBITE (English) Isaiah Thomas, Boston Celtics guard:

"And we've just got to build on that, and continue to try to be consistent as we can, with that and the offensive end and just go from there, so I'm glad that everybody had a smile tonight and everybody's confidence was high."
