"The difference is that before the season and before the decision I was always kind of leaving the door open. And saying I plan on retiring unless something changes. The thing about this decision what I have come to realise is that you can't make this decision on outside influences or situations changing or whatever the case may be - health or whatever it is. It has to be an internal decision. And once I sat down I really looked and said do I really want to do this for another year or so.?Or don't I? And the answer was - I don't. So why delay it."

"It just feels right to me. I don't want to go through the whole process again and I am ready to move on. I am comfortable with that and it's a hard choice. I have been playing basketball since I was like two. It's always difficult to walk away from your passion. It's the right call."
