Blanc believes minute's silence is "very just"

  • Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc commented on Saturday about the minute's silence held before PSG beat Troyes 4-1 in their first home game since the Paris attacks.

SOUNDBITE (French with English translation): Laurent Blanc, Paris Saint-Germain coach:

"Of course we would have liked not to have this kind of ceremonies, but I believe it was very worthy and very just. Once again we were obliged to do it, because it was the first home game in Paris, so we had to do it. It was very successful, if the word successful is not misplaced. We had to give a last tribute to the victims who unfortunately lost their lives not far away from here. It was rather moving and afterwards one has to move forward."
