  • Wladimir Klitschko and Tyson Fury' weighed-in on Friday (27th November), ahead of their heavyweight bout on Saturday (28th November).

Tyson Fury ended up just a pound heavier than his Ukrainian counterpart, world champion Wladimir Klitschko at the pair's pre-match weigh-in for their heavyweight bout on Friday.

Despite claiming before that he was going to be around 18st 3lb, the Brit weighed in at 17st 8lbs, or 112 kilograms, thus holding a slight weight advantage over Klitschko, who came in at 17st 7lbs, or 111.5 kilograms.

Aside from being his lightest in 3 years, Fury is also 3 inches taller than the 39 year old Klitschko. He will battle for his much-anticipated WBA, IBF and minor WBO and IBO heavyweight world titles against Klitschko at a 55,000-seat Esprit Arena in Dusseldorf.

After a fairly light-hearted build-up, the weigh-in ceremony stuck to the script - with Fury refusing Klitschko's handshake.

The famous staredown also took place, with Fury playfully accompanying the final handshake with "Let the games begin". The heavyweight title clash will take place on Saturday, and is said to be the most eagerly anticipated match since Mayweather and Pacquiao back in May.
