Ahead of their Premier League match at Sunderland, Stoke City manager Mark Hughes says his players are yet to all play well on the same day.
SOUNDBITE: (English) Mark Hughes, Stoke City manager (On Sunderland)
"There in a little bit of a situation that needs resolving, that's why Sam has got the job and he will approach it in the way he sees fit. So it was a great result for them (1-0 at Crystal Palace), that will buoy their confidence, which you would think would help them. But the way we're playing at the moment we're really confident in what we're trying to achieve, every game we're playing. Last time out against Southampton we were excellent and arguably should have won by more. So if we play as well as we did against Southampton we'll cause Sunderland a problem."
(Q: Are you as stylish as you can get, or do you want to push it more?)
"I think results-wise we're doing ok, but probably performance-wise there is more to come. I think we haven't all clicked at the same time, I think individually we've had good games and maybe three or four players within the team have been exceptional, others haven't quite hit the heights we know that they're capable of. But it hasn't totally clicked that everybody has played well on the same day, let's hope that happens at the weekend. But we certainly have got the potential, if we play well in all positions then we're a very good side."
