Neil: Norwich 'can give bigger teams problems'

  • Norwich manager Alex Neil looks ahead to his side's Premier League match against Arsenal.

SOUNDBITE (English) Alex Neil, Norwich City manager:

"I think if you look at the last three matches, I think (in the match against) Man City we did really well, probably - arguably - should have got a point out of the game, certainly in the situation we were in with a couple of minutes to go. Unfortunately, we didn't, and then we managed to beat Swansea. And then we went to Chelsea and largely frustrated Chelsea in the game, apart from a sort of lapse in concentration, which cost us a goal. So I think over the last few games, we've certainly given ourselves a bit of momentum in terms of...performance-wise, we've done okay and we've got a bit of belief in the squad that we can go and cause the bigger teams problems."

(Question - Do you think you you can expose some of Arsenal's weaknesses following their 2-1 defeat at West Brom last week?)

"Yeah, we've got analysts that sort of analyse the last five or six games. So the West Brom game, in particular, we've looked at. However I will remind people that Arsenal missed a penalty and a whole host of chances, so yeah, I think for these type of games you really need the sort of bigger teams to maybe not be firing on all cylinders, and hope that we can play at the top of our level. If we can achieve that, there's no reason we can't get something out of the game."
