"A special accomplishment. I guess we have been saying anytime in the last week - anything that you can do in the history of the NBA with all the great teams that have suited up and all the great legends and players - it's pretty special so we have have had 16 challenges in front of us and we've showed up for 16 straight games so a streak like that in general is always a huge accomplishment but whenever you can start a season like that with high expectations going into a year and go unblemished so far that's a pretty proud moment for everyone in this locker room and we will go on now and see how long we can keep it going obviously. And continue to get better in the process."
SOUNDBITE (English) Klay Thompson, Golden State Warriors
"Very special night. You have got to celebrate it because it is obviously a piece of history now. We want to continue to streak. We feel that we can. We just can't be content until November."
Q. You talk to your dad after the game after that prediction?
"I haven't seen him yet but I am sure that I will give him a hard time. It was a big win. I knew that we were going to win. I knew that we would come out with too much fire and too much on the line."
Q. What's it say about this team to come off the back of an NBA championship and to start a season like this?
"We are a young team. We are very hungry. We have got great veterens who won't let us be complacent. Hopefully it sends a message outto the league that w eare here and we are going to stay for a while and just play together and play for each other and play selfish and we will be successful."
