  • Taiwan's Hung Chien-yao set to fly high after hole in one at Manila Masters

Taiwan's Hung Chien-yao took to the skies with this long iron at the 13th hole of the Manila Masters.

And he'll now also be taking to the skies himself after hitting a hole-in-one on Sunday (Nov 22).

Hung's ace at the 241-yard par-three 13th hole at Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club, won him US$250,000 worth of VIP air service.

The unique prize was sponsored by Philippines private aviation company Red Tail Aviation.

Hung can cash in for either helicopter or aeroplane flights within the Philippines for the next six months.

Unfortunately Hung's hole-in-one prize was the only one he would be taking home from the Manila Masters as he finished two shots behind winner Natipong Srithong.
