Rafael Nadal reflects on his win against David Ferrer completing a hat-trick of wins in the group stage of the ATP World Tour Finals in London.

"For me that is an important victory. It does not matter if I was qualified. As I said before, for me the main goal is to try to arrive in good shape next year. And today was an opportunity to play against another of the top eight players of the world. Tough surface - good surface I think for him. He likes to play here. So for me it was another opportunity for me to compete. And I think I competed well. I won a very tough match. A very good match in terms of quality in moments. And I am very happy. You know, three straight wins against top eight players. So it was great news for me."

"For me the main thing is to keep going the same way, keep practising the same way the same things that I am doing to try to start next year with that energy that I had today. And if I am able to keep playing like this, I think next year can be a positive year for me."
