Rose going all out for win in Dubai

Thursday, November 19 2015 by SNTV
  • English golfer Justin Rose says he'll go all out for the win at the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.

    SOUNDBITE: Justin Rose, England

"I've worked hard to get to this point where I feel like if I win the tournament, I'm going to be unlucky not to be lifting both trophies. So I feel like I have a great opportunity - it's a course I like, the equation for me is simple, I pretty much need to win to have a chance whereas Rory (McIlroy) and Danny (Willett) have a lot more moving parts and a lot of other options to win obviously but you know in some ways that can be more tricky. So for me, it's go all out and try and win."

    SOUNDBITE: Branden Grace, South Africa

"Yeah, it's good, you know this is what you play for the whole year obviously. You're going to try to be in a position to win it and you know, I've managed to do that so far. Obviously I would have liked to be a lot closer than what I am so I know a win is pretty much what's it's going to be. But it's good, you know it's a great week, we're in a place I really like and a golf course I'm fond of so, you know, you never know what's going to be this coming Sunday."

    SOUNDBITE: Byeong-Hun-An, South Korea

"I know my chances are really slim. You know, (Rory) McIlroy always plays really well on this golf course, I think it was 22 shots better than anyone else and Danny (Willett) has been playing really well - and there are a lot of good players in front of me but as long as I do my job and then we'll see how it goes."

    SOUNBDITE: Rafael Cabrera-Bello, Spain

"I mean obviously it's nice, this is our end of the year event, the event we spend all year trying to qualify for, so it's great to come here. Obviously mixed feelings about last year because it was going very great and then had a harsh finish but overall really happy to be here again. The course feels good, I mean I felt comfortable yesterday on the pro-am day and today on the practice range so I'm looking forward to tomorrow, yes."
