Reaction to Roger Federer's 7-5, 6-2 win over Novak Djokovic in the ATP World Tour Finals in London

SOUNDBITE: (English) Roger Federer, defeated Novak Djokovic 7-5 6-2:

"Yes, I was very happy. I think I played a great match. Just was really good on my serve in the first set, played clutch when I had to from the baseline. In the second set, I think he wasn't as good as in the first set and I was able to take advantage of that which is not always easy against Novak because even then he can be very good and overall I'm very pleased. I think it was a great match from my side and obviously one I can build on for the rest of the tournament."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Roger Federer, world number three:

"Well, very much so. I feel like we play great against each other. It's athletic, it's different, I know he gets one more or two more shots back better than anybody and when he does they've got more depth, more power. He covers the court better than anyone right now so it's a great challenge and I enjoy that, I get up for that. It's still one of the big reasons I'm still playing tennis today."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Novak Djokovic, lost to Roger Federer 7-5 6-2:

"The court is played a little bit slower than maybe US Open or Cincinnati the last couple of times we played against each other, so I think that's where he felt he can maybe spin the ball and wait for a shorter ball from my side and come in, which he did. So tactically he played well. Undoubtedly he was the better player on the court but I think I also allowed him to play and penetrate through the ball and dictate the tempo from the baseline. As I said, I didn't have this follow-through on my shots, no depth honestly. Many mistakes and basically if you play this way against Roger you have no chance so I was hoping that when I broke back in the second I am going to start playing better but it just wasn't to be today."
