Djokovic eases to win over Nishikori at Finals

  • Novak Djokovic beat Kei Nishikori 6-1, 6-1 on Sunday (15th November) in the ATP World Tour Finals at the O2 Arena n London.

    The ATP World Tour Finals got underway at the O2 Arena in London with the crowd taking a moment to remember the victims of the Paris terrorist attacks.

    When the action got underway between Novak Djokovic and Kei Nishikori, it proved to be one way traffic.

    Djokovic is currently enjoying a 14-game win streak at the World Tour Finals, and Nishikori never threatened to end the run.

    The World number one cruising past his opponent in a dominant first set display, eventually taking it 6-1.

    The question quickly turned to whether the Serb would lift off the gas in the second.

    And Djokovic answered almost immediately, displaying his entire repertoire of shots to wow the O2 crowd.

    The Serb demolishing Nishiokori in the second as well, in fact Djokovic lost just nine points on his own serve as he sealed his 38th indoor victory in a row.

    The final score 6-1 6-1.
