  • Marylebone Cricket Club tour manager Colin Maber and captain Neil Dexter discuss their tour of Nepal.

SOUNDBITE (English) Colin Maber, MCC tour manager

"The climate is lovely for us because we are in middle of winter at home. So to be here in this beautiful sunny weather and... that's fantastic. The thing that is most noticeable for us is because we are at much higher altitude than what we are used to at home the ball really flies through the air. So the ball gets hit in the air and with power the ball goes all the way to the boundary. It's great."

SOUNDBITE (English) Neil Dexter, MCC team captain

"It is good for some of these guys to come here and experience different conditions. Obviously some of them do not get that opportunity to play against such talented cricketers like Nepal does. Yeah - just to get back to Nepal cricket I think they don't have lot of facilities. We are fortunate enough in England. But to see the talent it is a good proud moment for us to get the ball getting smacked around the park and to see how talented some of these players are and for us to learn from that end and probably to show what MCC is all about, the spirit of cricket, make sure it is played in the right way. We are still out there to win games obviously played in the right way and the right manner."
