World champion Sebastien Ogier continued to lead the season-ending Wales Rally GB after the early stages on Saturday (14 Novembe

After ending up in a ditch during the second stage of Rally Wales on Friday, Jari-Matti Latvala was hoping for a better showing on Saturday.

But luck still wasn't on the Finn's side - he retired again with a broken drive shaft on stage eight.

By contrast, Thierry Neuville had a good morning in wet conditions on the forest track.

Making up for a disappointing performance the previous day by winning Saturday's first two stages.

He was also a second faster than World Champion Sebastien Ogier on stage seven and eight.

Mads Ostberg and Dani Sordo were involved in a see-saw battle in the day's later stages.

But the Norwegian finally got the better of Sordo, holding on to fourth.

And in stages nine and 10, it was Ogier who came out on top and overtook Neuville.

But events back home clouded the Frenchman's win.
