Global cricket superstars Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne headline a star-studded lineup of renowned players from around the world in the inaugural "Cricket All-Star Series" on Saturday, November 7 at 1:00 p.m at Citi Field.
The New York event is part of a three-city tour marking the first time these icons have played in the United States. It also renews the famous rivalry between "Master Blaster" Tendulkar and "King of Spin" Warne.

SOUNDBITE (English) Shane Warne:
(on direction of current Australian cricket team)
"Um, (former captain) Michael Clarke's retired, you know, he's been a wonderful player for Australia for a long time, a fantastic captain, the best captain since Mark Taylor I believe. So I think he did a great job. For now it's probably the most Australian cricket team that's ever been. There's so many spots up for grabs. So, it's a good time for Australian cricket. Probably for the last thirty years it's probably the most open it's been, so great opportunities for some young players. But you, we've got a lot of talent in Australia. So I'm sure Australian cricket is going to be pretty strong still.
SOUNDBITE (English) Shane Warne:
(on whether David Warner should captain the ODI's and T20s)
"Look, Dave Warner would do a good job, I'm sure, but Steve Smith will play all three forms of the game and do a good job. He's an experienced captain, in those forms of the games, he's been under Michael Clarke's tutelage for a while. We're in good hands with Steve Smith, so Dave Warner's his deputy, I think, in most of those forms of the game. I'm sure he'll do a good job, and be a good deputy."
SOUNDBITE (English) Shane Warne:
"The best team in the world at the moment is probably South Africa. Australia probably just got piped for being the best, now probably the second is open...India, England, Australia probably second, all three of them. But South Africa probably the standout side in the world at the moment."
