"Yeah, look racing is in my blood. I'm the youngest of 10 kids and my dad is a trainer and seven of my brothers and sisters were jockeys and right from as long as I remember it's what I love it's my passion, it's an amazing industry and like Darren (Weir) said you don't have all the money in the world to win the greatest race in Australia and nearly the world."

SOUNDBITE (English): Darren Weir, trainer of Prince of Penzance:

"You know they work hard and she works hard and she deserves what she gets."

SOUNDBITE (English): Darren Weir, trainer of Prince of Penzance:

"I'm just so grateful that Darren did stick with me and Sandy (McGregor, part owner of the horse) might not have been my hugest fan but he's been testing me all along this preparation and seeing how he (Prince of Penzance) was going and I was pretty happy with him sort of asking me because I thought you know hopefully that's a good sign but no he's a great guy and I'm so glad that I could do the job for them and not only for Darren and all of the owners of his team but for female jockeys in particular."
