Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal remain on course for a Swiss Indoors final clash after respective quarter-final successes.

Top-seed Federer overcame mid-match service problems to beat David Goffin 6-3 3-6 6-1 on Friday and set up a clash with American Jack Sock.

The Basel native is on course for a seventh title in his home city after trumping the Belgian in a repeat of last year's final.
