SOUNDBITE (English) Usman Khwaja, Batsman, Australia (on whether he feels nice to be back in the team):

"Ya, it is..its a bit sort of hard to think about all that right now, we are mid-game at the moment, but it was nice call this morning, i'm looking forward to it."

SOUNDBITE (English) Usman Khwaja, Batsman, Australia (on recovering from his injury):

"Ya, it is massive. I'm just happy to be playing cricket again. I was thinking about this morning, at one point I thought with the knee injury my career might have been over, and then obviously did a ton of work to get back. I'm just happy to be playing cricket again, it's a lot of fun, so..yes, it's a big bonus obviously."

SOUNDBITE (English) Usman Khwaja, Batsman, Australia (on his previous test appearance in 2013)

"I don't know, that was four years ago, that was long time ago, I like to think i have improved as a player. But, at the end of the day, everything I have done towards this point now doesn't really matter. It's all about what I do in the next game, and the next game and how I can contribute to wins for Australia and for Queensland, so I'm just all focused on that."

SOUNDBITE (English) Joe Burns, Batsman, Australia (on being selected):

"I guess my last two years for Queensland as an opening batter, I feel really comfortable in that role. I've had some consistent success there, so it is very easy, I guess, to just slide in..and I guess the fact the first game is at the Gabba, on my home ground, makes it little bit easier as well. It's a challenge that I'm looking forward to..and excited by the prospect of opening for Australia."

SOUNDBITE (English) Joe Burns, Batsman, Australia (on opening with David Warner)

"Hard to say because i haven't batted with him in a test match at all. But i really enjoyed opening the batting with him in the one-dayers that we did play together. He is a guy that I guess I'd look to learn a lot from, his consistency at the top of the order across all three forms, I guess he is a great guy to lean on and look for support, takes some lessons from the way he plays the game."
