Lydia Ko back to world number one after nine shot victory at LPGA Taiwan Championship

    Script:

Lydia Ko was the one to beat as the final round of the LPGA Taiwan Championship teed off Sunday.

Eun-hee Ji started the day four shots back of Ko in second and started well - setting up a birdie at the third.

But Ko wasn't to be outdone - also setting up a birdie on the same hole.

Her momentum continued - chipping in for an eagle on twelve to take a seven shot lead at eighteen under.

Nineteen-year-old Charley Hull of England used this birdie putt on seventeen to seal fourth place at ten-under after a final round of 70.

South Korea's So Yeon Ryu ended in a tie for second with compatriot Eun-hee Ji at eleven under after she also shot a 70.

But no one was going to catch runanway winner Lydia Ko, finishing with a final round 65 to take the title by nine shots at 20-under.

The win is Ko's tenth as a LPGA Tour member and sends her back into the number one spot in the world rankings.

Ko also sets a new record for fastest LPGA player to ten wins after turning professional, breaking Nancy Lopez's previous mark by three and half years.
