    SOUNDBITE: (English) Tiger Woods:

"I haven't been allowed to do pretty much anything, the only thing I have been going to is watching my kids play soccer (football), I miss training with them, doing the drills, playing with them, they always want me to play goalie now, we play in a small goal but I am not diving, so there are compromises but I will start my rehab soon, but again it's a long and tedious rehab.

"It wasn't that long ago, a couple of years ago, that I won five times on tour and I was player of the year and so i am not that far removed from winning, but first of all i need to be healthy, to get back there, first, and i tried to play through some stuff this year and it wasn't that much fun playing through that much pain.

"Hopefully my 40s will be as successful as VJ was when he won more tournaments in the 40s than anybody else, very similar to what Sam Snead did, he won over 20 tournaments in his 40s.

"I look forward to next year competing against these kids, and playing against them next year, and I'm sorry I cant play this year in this great event but I will be back next year."
