  • LA Clippers and Charlotte Hornets held their training sessions in the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai on the eve of the second match of NBA China Games.
And despite the distance travelled, Clippers coach Glenn Rivers believes this trip to China will help the team in the forthcoming season.

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Glenn "Doc" Rivers:

"I said this in Shenzhen, thing are going as we want them to go, we are the champions hopefully, we are going to look back this trip to China, and say this is one of the main reasons that allows us to come together, and this really has been a good trip for us. "

The Clippers lost to Charlotte Hornets in the first game of the trip on Sunday 106-94 in Shenzhen.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Steve Clifford, head coach of Charlotte Hornets:

Steve Clifford, head coach of the Hornets, was satisfied with the performance of his bench players, including Jeremy Lin and Cody Zeller.

"We will see, once we get home, we still have four more games. We will keep experimenting and see which line-up is better, not only for starting, but we are also very good in play of the bench. So those are the things we are looking at."

This is the last match for both teams in China, before the NBA season begins on 27 October 2015
