  • Reaction from Twickenham following Australia's 15-6 win over Wales at the Rugby World Cup on Saturday (10th October).

SOUNDBITE: (English) Bernard Foley, Australia fly half:

"It was a totally different game to last week and that's what test match rugby is all about. Tournament rugby is just about finding ways to win and that's what we've got to be most proud of. The Welsh threw everything at us but the boys showed so much heart and belief in each other to repel them and to come away with a win like that is very satisfying."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Scott Sio, Australia prop:

"It was my first game against Wales and I knew it was going to be an 80 minute effort with how fit these guys are and physical they are on the park. The boys really banded together. We were down to 13 men at one point and we really had to draw on each other out there. I thought the boys really stood up and put in a great performance. We'll re-gather and get ready for next week."

SOUNDBITE (English) Justin Tipuric, Wales flanker:

"Obviously it wasn't the result we wanted. When they were down to 13 men, if we could have got that try then the game would have been in our hands but unfortunately we didn't get the try and we've got to give credit to their defence for keeping us out. A bounce of the ball, a referee decision going our way, it could have been a different game."

SOUNDBITE (English) George North, Wales back (looking ahead to South Africa):

"We knew the task ahead of us for this group and I think first and foremost it's brilliant we got out of the group but also being so close (to winning it) means we're gutted. South Africa on Saturday - we know a lot about them and vice versa, we've played them enough in the last few years. It's a test that's going to be difficult. Day off tomorrow and focus back on Monday for the test on Saturday."

SOUNDBITE (English) Justin Tipuric, Wales flanker:

"Our attention will turn there now the game is finished. We're confident. We turned them over last time we played. We know they're a good team, they're physical. It's going to be another tough game at the breakdown and we've got to back ourselves."
