SOUNDBITE (English) Matthew Fitzpatrick, British Masters champion:

"It was a little bit frustrating after the front nine I've got to admit. I couldn't really get anything going. The back nine started bright - two birdies in the first three. I felt like I was swinging it a bit better and I could be a bit more aggressive, which I did coming in and I managed to pull it off so it was great."
"It's unbelievable for me. I feel like this is an amazing achievement. It's something that I dreamt of doing, but I never thought I'd be good enough to do it. Today's been a great day for my confidence and I just need to take that into the rest of the season and for ever, I guess."

SOUNDBITE (English) Shane Lowry, tied for second place at the British Masters:

"It was another day of playing good golf and holing nothing. There are a lot of positives to take from the week. I finished up there with woeful putting - that's the only term I can use for it. I holed pretty much nothing all week. I was hitting inside ten feet a lot and not making them. It's just frustrating and I lost confidence on the greens. My golf was good enough to finish in the top three putting bad, so there are a lot of positives to take from it."
