"Jurgen Klopp - I am not really part of the negotiations there so I don't know the status there is. Of course, I do know that there are talks going on. Looking back, he has had an extraordinary successful time in Dortmund. He has released a load of emotions in the Dortmund crowd. I think there are some parallels that can be drawn from Dortmund on the one hand and Liverpool on the other with a fantastic supporters culture. If it works out with him and Klopp can be a great addition to coaching any team.

He is a really great coach and I think when people put their minds to the question 'Right - what is he going to do post-Dortmund?' Then clubs like Liverpool certainly enter the frame in that discussion. But he lives eats, drinks and breathes football, day after day. He's a fantastic addition to any side and I keep my fingers crossed for him for the next stage of his career."
