"Look, Brendan (Rodgers) done ok. You know he's, he never obviously got us to what we wanted, it was to win the league. He came very, very close. And I don't think he was a failure such, I think he's done very well but I said before, Football is a results business now and if you're not getting the results that you want, you're not winning leagues, you're not winning cups, then questions are going to be asked. And sadly for Brendan, that's been the case. But I actually thought he was a very good Liverpool manager. You know, I liked him. I liked him as a man, I liked him as a manager, I thought his man-management style was very good, but you know, the club have said we want a change, that's the club's idea to change the manager, so we all stand by that decision."

"Well, my personal opinion is he's (Jurgen Klopp) a very good manager. You know, I don't know him as a man, never met him, looking at from an outsider, I was impressed with his performances over in Germany for Dortmund. You know, that's all it is. I like what I see but that's exactly with Carlo Ancelotti. I like his manner, I like Jurgen Klopp's manner, I like the way they are with the teams, they have the teams play great football, good football we deserve at Liverpool and both of these managers can supply that."

"Well look, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested if a new manager comes in, I'd love to be on the backroom staff. You know, Liverpool is a massive part of my life and if that was to be the case, I would absolutely love that."
