  • Reaction after Yannick Bolasie's first goal at Selhurst Park in over two-and-a-half years set Crystal Palace on their way to a 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion in the English Premier League on Saturday (October 3).

SOUNDBITE: (English) Tony Pulis, West Bromwich Albion Manager:

"Well we played really well, I have spoken to the lads, we played really well against Everton as well for..until they got the first goal and then just dropped off the pace - unbelievable. How do you legislate for it? I don’t know wheteher it is confidence or whatever but you know, we have got to sort it out because you can't go from a performance of eight and then drop down to a performance of fours and threes. You know, that is..I am not picming on one person, I am saying the group...as a group. But they certainly weren't on it today."

SOUNDBITE: Alan Pardew, Crystal Palace Manager:

"I just thought we approached the game knowing what to expect a little bit, so we knew we had to be patient and we were. We played in a controlled manner today, and you need someone like Cabaye to orchestrate that and he was tremendous today in almost everything he did. Then obviouly, he creates the goal, which was a really great moment for us, because we needed the breakthrough. It was getting to that stage where we were starting to worry on the bench and perhaps looking to make changes, but the goal changed that, and I thought we deserved it."
